2019 Sing! Conference to Focus on ‘The Life of Christ’

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 24, 2018—Keith and Kristyn Getty of Getty Music announced that the 2019 Getty Music Worship Conference-Sing! will take place Aug. 19-21 at the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. and the theme will focus on “The Life of Christ.”

The Sing! Conference is a part of the Getty’s five-year initiative and learning journey to help pastors, musicians and leaders build a Biblical understanding and creative vision for congregational singing in their churches. The 2018 conference took place Sept. 10-12 and doubled in growth from the 2017 inaugural conference with more than 7,500 attendees from more than 30 countries. Organizers of the conference expect to see an even more significant growth for the 2019 event.

The Sing! conference exists to bring together speakers and artists from diverse traditions and walks of life to encourage attendees towards a deeper, more dynamic view of rich theology, vibrant artistry and mission in congregational singing.

The 2019 Sing! Conference will feature speakers such as:

The 2019 Conference will feature a 16,000 member event and a city-wide choir of over 1,000 people at the Bridgestone Arena where John Piper will preach on the resurrection of Christ. This event will be simulcasted to hundreds of countries around the world. The Gettys are also reinventing the Nashville Hymn Sing at the Grand Ole Opry House where Joni Eareckson Tada will lead the congregation in hymns along with the Gettys, special guests and artists from the Nashville area, and other top instrumentalists and musicians.
